Experience 16 — Anatomy
The anatomy
of time.
A whole mechanical movement, ticking. Keep scrolling and it comes apart in mid-air — every plate, gear and jewel drifting into its own layer — then falls back together, whole again.
First, the crystal
lifts away.
The glass and the bezel rise off the face, and the dial floats free of the case that has held it shut.
The movement
breathes out.
Plates separate into depth. What read as a single flat disc reveals itself as a stack — layer behind layer behind layer.
Gears, and the
mainspring.
The train wheels fan outward, still turning. The coiled spring — the whole engine of the thing — hangs there in the open air.
Ruby jewels,
bearing the load.
Tiny stones glow at every pivot — the bearings the steel spins against. This is the moment held fully apart.
And then —
made whole.
Every part flies home. The case closes, the hands sweep, and the movement is a movement again. Nothing left over.
Sixteen experiences deep
Time, taken
